General Description

This elegant bag is handwoven from fine bamboo strips using a traditional weaving method. The use of thin bamboo infuses the perfect combination of pliancy and elasticity. The weaving pattern, a geometric graphic "hemp-leaf" design, is both simple and delicate -- as you would expect from Japan. The handle is fashioned from fern-leaf hedge bamboo interwoven with plaited cord for adequate strength and easy, comfortable carrying. The inner liner, made of cloth, is not detachable. The bag exterior is beautifully finished in clear lacquer.HAND MADE IN JAPAN

Proper Care: If the bag becomes wet with rain, etc., wipe it with a soft cloth, and leave it to dry out of direct sunlight. Once completely dry, store the bag where there is minimal dampness.
Caution: ● Direct contact may cause inadvertent damage to wool, lace, knit fabric, etc. ● Avoid using the bag in wet weather, etc., as the dyes may run and cause discoloration to clothing, etc. ● The lacquer finish may cause an allergic response or skin rash in some people. In such cases, cease using the bag immediately and consult a dermatologist.
