[We are not taking orders]

General Description

Who hasn't ever dreamed of flying through the air like a bird? This kite, an original work of art from the imagination of its craftsman, was born from that dream. Amazingly realistic, the kite is said to actually attract "tonbi" birds, on which its design is based. And why not? Serendipitously, the word "tonbi" translates into English as the bird named "kite." So this is technically a "kite kite"! HAND MADE IN JAPAN

The veteran kitemaker who crafts this work of art is Tetsuya Kishida.

We are deeply saddened to announce that Tetsuya Kishida passed away on August 20, 2019.

His love and passion for creating and flying the Edo kites were unmeasurable. We were inspired by his artwork and our gratitude for the opportunity to work with him.
